Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer

An established organization in the aerospace and defense technology sector is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist to support complex communication products used in demanding operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing performance and investigate production failures to determine root causes
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies, boards, and modules down to the component level
• Analyze and support analog, digital, and RF circuit designs
• Conduct experiments and simulations to validate design improvements and corrective actions
• Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, testing procedures, and product reliability
• Address component shortages by identifying alternate parts and validating their performance
• Support the introduction of new products by assisting with prototype troubleshooting and production readiness
• Partner with quality and supply chain teams to resolve material or component discrepancies
• Provide technical mentorship and troubleshooting guidance to technicians and junior engineers
• Lead technical investigations and coordinate engineering tasks when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience, OR
• 10+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in lieu of a degree
