Job description
An established regional medical center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join its Respiratory Therapy team on the night shift. This role is ideal for a licensed respiratory professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative acute care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop appropriate respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer respiratory therapies and oxygen treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain ventilators and other advanced respiratory support equipment.
- Assist with airway management, resuscitation procedures, and respiratory emergencies.
- Perform respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards.
- Complete all required department and unit orientation and competency requirements.
- Participate in providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.
Schedule
- Full-time.
- Night shift.
Requirements
- Education that meets eligibility requirements for Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
- Current Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License required upon hire.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing respiratory therapy services in an acute care hospital.
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care respiratory support.
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Details
- Salary: $66,399 - $106,947.
