Job description
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Interventional Technologist to join a collaborative cardiovascular and interventional imaging team at a leading medical center in Portland, Oregon. This role supports diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular, neurovascular, and interventional radiology procedures while maintaining high standards of patient safety and radiation protection.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic cases.
- Prepare and operate specialized interventional devices and imaging technologies.
- Support cardiovascular, stroke, thrombectomy, embolization, and other minimally invasive interventions.
- Circulate during procedures and maintain a sterile procedural environment.
- Monitor and promote radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain quality patient care throughout each procedure.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary procedural team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Oregon Radiographer License required upon hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon hire.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Special Procedures Lab.
Compensation and Details
- Salary: $97,364 - $151,132.
- $15,000 sign-on bonus.
